Work in progress
Ólafur Jónson’s most remarkable idea is, indisputably, his "Gaia Power Plant". Óli is now living in China, where he is working exclusively on this revolutionary new idea about energy sources. The “Gaija Power Plant” is grounded in the same concepts as other harnessing of geothermal energy – but the revolutionary aspect is the use of seawater instead of fresh water and the earths crust for heating.
Secretary of State John Kerry said we’re at a tipping point, calling climate change “perhaps the world’s most fearsome weapon of mass destruction.” Global warming is as threatening as the asteroid that caused the extinction of three-quarters of the plant and animal species on earth 66 million years ago.
The need for clean energy source in urgent. Óli´s idea is probably the best solution still mentioned. This concerns all life on earth.
